The Análise Advocacia yearbook is the largest and most relevant survey conducted in the Brazilian legal market. More than 1,000 directors of the country's leading companies are consulted by the publication's team and vote for the law firms and professionals they most admire.

Sion Advogados, its founding partner, Alexandre Sion, and other partners have been recognized, since 2012, in the top spots of the select list of the most admired law firms and lawyers in the country.

In 2024, we celebrated 1st place overall in Minas Gerais and 2nd place in Brazil in the Environmental, Electric Energy, Steel and Mining areas, in addition to other notable recognitions. For the 7th consecutive year, our founding partner, Alexandre Sion, was awarded 1st place in Environmental and 1st place overall in Minas Gerais and continues to hold 1st place in Electric Energy, in addition to other notable rankings. Partners Bernardo Pessoa and Luiza Guerra received highly relevant awards: Bernardo was recognized in Steel and Mining, Real Estate, and in the general ranking of Minas Gerais, while Luiza stood out in the general ranking of Minas Gerais.

Since 2014, Chambers has elected Alexandre Sion, founding partner of Sion Advogados, in the categories: Corporate/Commercial: Soth East” and “Energy and Natural Resources; Mining”

The same publication highlighted that the founding partner of Sion Advogados “is an active participant in the discussions to formulate a new regulatory framework for the sector”.

The publication identifies, annually, the main offices that work in the Finance and Corporate sectors. Since 2017, Sion Advogados has been recognized as one of the most admired firms in the Project Development area.

Since 2015, Alexandre Sion, founding partner of Sion Advogados, has been recognized in the Environmental, Mining, Natural Resources, Corporate and M&A categories. In the current research cycle, the firm was listed in the “Brazil Best Law Firms for Dispute Resolution” ranking and our partners Alexandre Sion and Bernardo Pessoa were referred to as experts in the area. The award, which has been held since 2004, recognizes outstanding initiatives in the development of socio-environmental projects in Minas Gerais.
