The work "Basic Sanitation Regulatory Framework: studies in honor of Minister Luiz Fux," organized by Dr. Leandro Frota, president of the Special Commission on Sanitation, Water Resources, and Sustainability of the Brazilian Bar Association (CFOAB), and Dr. Manoel Messias Peixinho, president of the Institute of Administrative Law of Rio de Janeiro, was structured to analyze Federal Law No. 14.026/2020 and shed light on a current, relevant topic that has been gaining increasing prominence on the national scene. Thus, the book aims to gather high-quality scientific works that address this theme from an interdisciplinary perspective, highlighting the importance of the new Basic Sanitation Regulatory Framework and its indispensability for the faithful fulfillment of fundamental principles, such as human dignity and the eradication of poverty and marginalization, as well as the reduction of social and regional inequalities, as stipulated in our Federal Constitution of 1988.
