In May, the Sion Advogados team presented to the Brazilian Association for Clean Energy Generation (@abragelpc) an opinion detailing the main points of the National Policy on the Rights of Populations Affected by Dams, Federal Law No. 14,755/2023, and how this law affects the electricity sector.

On the 1st of this month, ABRAGEL launched the first edition of its digital magazine, “Clean Energy”, which includes an exclusive interview with our founding partner Alexandre Sion.

In the article, Sion highlights some of the conclusions of the opinion, emphasizing that the infra-legal regulation of the new law should bring greater security to the application of the listed instruments, rights and obligations.
