DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT OF THE ANNUAL PER HECTARE FEE (“TAH”) IS JULY 31
The payment of the TAH is an obligation imposed by the Mining Code on all holders of Research Authorization, which must be paid annually until the submission of the Final Research Report to the ANM.
The TAH payment must be made by the last business day of January for cases where Research Permits and respective extensions have been published in the Official Gazette (DOU) between July 1 and December 31. For those permits and respective extensions published between January 1 and June 30, the payment must be made by the last business day of July, which is approaching.
It is important to note that failure to meet these deadlines will result in the holder being fined, and may even lead to the nullification of the research authorization permit if the non-compliance persists after the imposition of the fine.
